| Through our Field to Forecourt contract we buy oilseed rape from UK farmers to process into biodiesel at our production plant at Immingham.
Rape oil is a major feedstock for our biodiesel plant, and all of our UK rapeseed requirements for the biodiesel plant will be sourced through our Field to Forecourt contract.
The contract is now offered nationally through Frontier Agriculture and Grainfarmers and locally through G Williams and Co (Grain), REFA, John Vergette Ltd and Harlow Agricultural Merchants.
This year (2008 harvest) we have capped the volume of rapeseed contracted under our Field to Forecourt at 250,000 tonnes - equivalent to approximately 10% of the UK rapeseed crop.
