Financials
The Greenergy group has experienced
substantial growth since its formation in 1992, ranking
13th in the Deloitte & Touche Indy 100 awards for the fastest
growing UK companies in 2001 and maintaining a high growth rate to earn
itself a 10th place in this year's "The Sunday Times Deloitte Fast Track
100" league table of Britain's biggest private companies
for 2009.
Consolidated annualised turnover (excluding duty)
grew from some £60 million in 2001 to £2.4 billion
for the year to March 2009 (£1.7 billion in 2008), representing over 6 billion litres
of fuel. Including duty and VAT, the sales of the company for the year to March 2009 amounted to some £5.2 billion (4.8 billion in 2008).
The group is profitable,
returning profits before tax of £17.9 million
for the year ended 31 March 2009.
