Financials
The Greenergy group has experienced
substantial growth since its formation in 1992, ranking
13th in the Deloitte & Touche Indy 100 awards for the fastest
growing UK companies in 2001 and maintaining a high growth rate to earn
itself a place in "The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track
100" league table of Britain's fastest growing private companies
for 2006.
Consolidated annualised turnover (excluding duty)
grew from some £60 million in 2001 to £1.2 billion
for the year to March 2007 (£775 million in 2006), representing almost 4 billion litres
of fuel. Including duty and VAT, the sales of the company for the year to March 2007 amounted to some £3.2 billion.
The company is profitable,
returning profits before tax of £18.2 million
for the year ended 31 March 2007.
