We supply our customers not just with fuel, but also with the infrastructure and supply chain management services required to store and deliver fuel to customers’ petrol stations and depots.
By providing these functions on behalf of our customers, we aim to create efficiencies and improve reliability of supply.
Here are some of the things that we do to ensure that fuel reaches our customers’ sites reliably and efficiently:
- We monitor and maintain stock levels at our customers’ petrol stations;
- We operate a fleet of branded and unbranded road tankers to deliver fuel to our customers' sites;
- We schedule these deliveries, adjusting delivery patterns continually to respond to changing requirements;
- We store and supply fuel from locations that are most appropriate for each customer; and
- As biofuel specialists we also fulfil biofuel supply and sustainability reporting obligations on behalf of oil companies.
With a unique IT platform to ensure information and control, we have developed a reputation for providing the highest levels of service reliability.
Case Study:
Delivering low cost fuel supply
and improved supply resilience for a leading fuel retailer.
We took over all aspects of the fuel supply chain on behalf of a leading fuel retailer, providing national purchasing and supply, effective inventory management, as well as the scheduling and delivery of fuel to individual petrol stations. The process involves us:
- Remotely monitoring stock levels in tank at retail sites;
- Scheduling deliveries to sites to ensure a “safe” level of stock cover and achieve optimum delivery patterns at all times;
- Supplying fuel from terminals across the country;
- Contracting with hauliers to make deliveries to retail sites; and
- Invoicing the customer on a per-delivery basis.
Achievements:
The scale of the contract combined with short lead times meant preparations for this contract were particularly challenging.
We built jointly with the customer a brand new bespoke stock management and vehicle scheduling system. A new haulage fleet had to be procured and new drivers trained. New third party terminals had to integrate their IT systems with our own to ensure timely collection of lifting data. We also employed a dedicated scheduling team on the customers’ premises to work with the haulier to ensure that target stock levels were maintained.

Helping oil companies meet
their biofuel obligations.
Compliance with biofuel obligations
Oil companies are now required by law to include a certain percentage of biofuel in the fuel they supply. Under the Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation (RTFO) the UK Government requires public reporting on the carbon and sustainability of this biofuel.
We help oil companies comply with their biofuel obligations by supplying them with biodiesel, bioethanol or RTFO “tickets” - or a flexible combination of all three. In doing so, we meet customer-specific carbon, sustainability and quality specifications, supported by carbon and sustainability data audited in accordance with RTFO requirements.
