Made exclusively by Greenergy, GlobalGasoil is a new low emission fuel for off-road use.
It combines the benefits of:
- 20% biodiesel to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions; and
- 80% ultra low sulphur gasoil, a cleaner form of gasoil for better local air quality.
GlobalGasoil contains extremely low levels of sulphur (15 ppm sulphur in GlobalGasoil compared with 1000 ppm sulphur in standard gasoil) and therefore produces fewer sulphur dioxide emissions, which can affect lung function in asthmatics. It also has a higher cetane number than standard gasoil, which means it has better combustion qualities.
GlobalGasoil is suitable for use in construction vehicles, power generators, airport vehicles and various mechanical vehicles including cranes and forklift trucks. It may be suitable for public sector contracts where use of renewable energy sources is required.

We supply B100, or pure biodiesel, to major oil companies for blending with their own diesel products. This biodiesel is supplied either from our biodiesel plant at Immingham or from our biodiesel blending terminal at Vlaardingen near Rotterdam. It is manufactured and blended to meet the specific technical specifications requested by individual customers.

We have been supplying B50, a carefully formulated blend of 50% biodiesel and 50% standard mineral diesel, in the UK since January 2007. Tesco, the first user of B50, runs the fuel across its UK distribution fleet.
Greenergy B50 achieves an optimum combination of exceptional pricing and significant environmental benefit, making it particularly attractive to major fleet users such as hauliers.
The product is carefully blended to give reliable cold weather handling properties, making it an excellent choice of product throughout the year. Our B50 blend typically has a cetane number in excess of 53, a key performance indicator for diesel.
